The Morrigan
Print of my oil painting of The Morrigan, the goddess of war, death, and fate (Celtic Mythology). She is a gifted shape shifter and is known to favour changing into the crow. It is said that her name translates as 'Phantom Queen,' She is mainly associated with war and fate, and is often interpreted as a "war goddess" that could give life or take it away. She had the power to predict the future and influence it. She could cast spells that put fear into the hearts of her adversaries, ensuring those she favored would be victorious.
